The material for this website has existed for many years and is made up of various active work by our Church of St. Nicholas on Nash Road. Within the church community, we have our church choir Saint Nicholas and the very hard working Circle of Serbian Sisters. Our youngest parishioners have the opportunity to attend Serbian language and religious school, and also have the opportunity to take part in our folklore groups and you have the opportunity to get information about membership, individual activities and news from our church through words and pictures.
This page is made up from various information and hopefully seen as informative, but also motivating, for all of you who may have not yet had the opportunity to feel the beauty of belonging to your faith, community and your people.
St. Nicholas, Nikola Mirlikijski, also known as St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, was the bishop of Myra of Lykia in Asia Minor
(then the Roman Empire, today's Turkey). He lived in the 4th century in the city of Mira. In the whole Christianity he is honored as a saint and a miracle worker. St. Nicholas is the protector of sailors, merchants, children, and students.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation.
