3rd Annual St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral Golf Tournament
The 3rd annual golf tournament was held on September 7, 2019. Once again it was held at the prestigious Glendale Golf and Country Club. It was a beautiful fall day and the golf course was filled with happy golfers.
This year’s main tournament sponsor was Greybrook Realty Partners. Greybrook is a real estate investment and asset management company, whose CEO is Sasha Cucuz and whose Executive Director is Sara Mansour. Sasha, who grew up in our community, along with his wife, Sara, have created a very successful career for themselves and were in a position to sponsor in the amount of $25,000. Our sincere thanks to this special couple.
The tournament was successful on many fronts. The golfers enjoyed a well-groomed and challenging course; the dinner was wonderfully prepared by the Circle of Sisters under the direction of Stephanie Pejic; prizes were plentiful. And we raised $60,000 in total.
A big thank you to all the golfers, sponsors and all the volunteers who made this year’s tournament such a great success.
The committee consisting of George Pejic, Igor Rusic, Stephanie Pejic, Anka Manojlovic, Mima Ivosevic, Danica Rakas and Dragica Sobot did an outstanding job and are already planning for next year’s tournament, which they hope you will consider attending and/or sponsoring.
